Meet Our Team

Hey, I’m Colin.  I grew up here and recently returned after several years in Asia, Montreal, and digital nomading around Latin America and Europe.  I’m currently Head of Growth and UX at a Silicon Valley coliving startup, and FUSION Saint John is an excellent outlet for me to be able to engage with and contribute to the community now that I work remotely.

Aloha!  I’m Ross Horgan chair of Fusion Saint John.  I joined the board in July of 2014 and love living in the port city.  When I’m not wearing my Fusion hat, I’m also the Canadian Communications Chair for the North American Young Generation in Nuclear and the Maintenance Support Supervisor at NB Power.  I’ve lived in Saint John all my life, but for the last ten years have been a proud resident of Saint John’s South End.  I graduated Electrical Engineering Technology from NBCC Saint John in 2007 and have a compulsion to continuously learn and travel.  I joined Fusion to meet other young professionals in the city that were ambitious and career-oriented.  Over the last few years, I’ve met some great friends and contacts to continue improving Saint John.

Hi! I’m Jane Bardsley. I am the Chair of FUSION Saint John. I have been on the board for two years and love Saint John! I work in the field of communications and I have a passion for the betterment of my community. In my spare time, I love to connect with my family and friends, network, form meaningful partnerships, think strategically, and of course, read a good book.

I am a lawyer with Cox & Palmer and I currently live in uptown Saint John.  I grew up in Rothesay and then moved away for school.  Moving back to Saint John after several years away has been an eye-opening experience.  The City of Saint John is more vibrant than ever.  Being a part of FUSION has helped me connect (and re-connect) with some of the great people in this city.

I earned my law degree at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton.  Prior to law school, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.  While attending the University of Bridgeport, I spent four years competing as an NCAA gymnast.

My name is Jen Brown and I am the Community Schools Coordinator at Hazen White St. Francis school. I currently live on the most beautiful street in Saint John, Germain street with quick access to my favorite place – Uptown Saint John.

I graduated from UNB Saint John in 2015 with a Science degree. This is my second year as a director with Fusion and I’m excited to continue to with the momentum we’ve created. I joined Fusion because I wanted to continue being involved with my community and our the targeted age demographic. I love Saint John! Message us to get involved!!

Hey! I’m Mathieu Savidant, I work at Bonshaw as a Digital Content Creator and I live in Uptown Saint John.

I wanted to join FUSION Saint John to help make a difference and promote the Saint John area as a great place to live, work and play. I am finishing up my final year at UNB, majoring in Marketing and minor in E-commerce. My goal is to provide marketing that delivers results!

My name is Jess Buck and I am a Student Response Assistant with UNB Saint John. I currently live in Quispamsis, N.B, however, I grew up and lived in the City of Saint John for the majority of my life.

My biggest motivation to join Fusion was to be a part of a group of young professionals who make our city so special and unique, and to also utilize my experience in event planning to help grow our community.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of New Brunswick, Saint John, with a major in French and a minor in Linguistics.  Language and communication have always been my forté, and something I thoroughly enjoy.

I look forward to using my skills within this wonderful organization!

I am an HR Generalist at Source Atlantic Limited and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (UNB).  I live in Rothesay, NB and spend most of my free time with my friends and family.  As a Director with Fusion, I get to play an active role in the engagement of our young professionals and in the betterment of our community.  I am excited for the opportunity to be part of such a great organization alongside an even better team.

I’m Hilari MacLeod! I am a second-year medical student at Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick living in Uptown Saint John. I studied Early Modern philosophy and German at the University of King’s College for two years before moving back to Saint John to do my BSC. (Hon.) in biology-psychology. I joined fusion because I love Saint John and want to do my part to help make it the best it can be.
